Provides instruction in the role and responsibilities of the Nurse Aide. Prepares and conducts classes using a variety of learning experiences and activities that include lecture and lab materials. Instructional duties include assessment and evaluation with efficient maintenance of classroom records. Duties also include supervision of students at clinical sites. Must be willing to attend Train-the-Trainer Workshop (NGTC will pay for this one-day workshop). Must have knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office.
Diploma in Nursing AND current Georgia Practical Nurse License
Minimum of one (1) year Long Term Care Nursing Experience.
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
