Northeast Georgia Physicians Group will open its Quick-Care Facility in May 2011. Several other doctors groups serve the people of White County including Mt. Yonah Family Practice.  Residents have a choice of hospitals – Northeast Georgia Health System, a 557-inpatient, 261-skilled nursing bed health system in Gainesville, named one of the country's 100 Top Hospitals for 2009 by Thomson Reuters.  Habersham County Medical Center, an award-winning 53-bed not-for-profit acute care facility in Demorest and Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega recently re-accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
