Local playwright Emory Jones' Cheever depicts the life and times of folk potter Cheever Meaders, a colorful character and influential force in the world of folk potters. Meaders face jugs, being sought after by collectors everywhere, are a featured exhibit in the Smithsonian Institute and other museums around the country. The play examines and explores Cheever and the Meaders family contributions to Georgia life and place in southern society. Tickets: $15 Members, $18 Non Members, $10 Student.
