Collectible Christmas tree ornaments depicting historic sites in White County are available for sale from the Chamber of Commerce from now until January 5. These unique, one of a kind ornaments are popular with locals and visitors to give or collect.
The 2017 ornament, which is the seventh in a series, is of Nora Mill Granary. Built in 1876, by gold prospector John Martin. Famous for their grits, the mill is still in operation today.
The image of Nora Mill Granary is in full color and the porcelain ornament is trimmed in 22 carat gold. It is made by Gateway China Co., and holds a brief history of the bridge on the back side.
