Power's Community & Economic Development organization provides
comprehensive location assistance for business and industrial

serving 1.8 million customers, with rates 15% below the national

The
White County Water Authority supplies water through the unlimited raw
water resources of the Tesnatee Water Basin and Turner Creek. The
Authority has a withdrawal permit of 2 MGD. It is presently
treating approximately 1.1 MGD. The Authority maintains around 45
miles of water main within the county. It supplies water to Hall
County, the City of Cleveland, and the City of Helen. The White
County Water Authority is located at 179 Claude Sims Road in
