Our organization maintains a constant focus on promoting the economic development opportunities of North Georgia communities.  Habersham EMC supports identification and promotion of commercial and industrial sites while working closely with area chambers of commerce and government agencies in order to enhance the job opportunities and standard of living for the members.  Habersham EMC is recognized as the choice energy and services provider for new businesses moving into the area.

The White County Water Authority supplies water through the unlimited raw water resources of the Tesnatee Water Basin and Turner Creek.  The Authority has a withdrawal permit of 2 MGD.  It is presently treating approximately 1.1 MGD.  The Authority maintains around 45 miles of water main within the county.  It supplies water to Hall County, the City of Cleveland, and the City of Helen.  The White County Water Authority is located at 179 Claude Sims Road in Cleveland.  Please call 706-865-0788 for more information.
