Transportation in White County

With major highways and state routes running north/south and east/west through the heart of White County, access is not a problem. U.S. Highway 129 runs from Florida through Gainesville, Georgia (with access to Interstates 85 and 75) to points north including Knoxville, Tennessee. To avoid the traffic snarls of metropolitan Atlanta, Combining several state routes, including State Route 115 in White County can take you from the South Carolina/Georgia border all the way to Interstates 75 and 24 near Chattanooga, Tennessee.
