Internet -
The Chamber
offers you the opportunity to market your business not only to the local
area but to the world through our web site. If you do not have a website a
web page is personally designed for each member, giving free "web presence"
even if you don't own a computer.
It is our goal to establish a Web presence for every Chamber member. Our
Member &
Services Directory allows visitors to the Chamber website to search for
a member by name, category or service. Call the Chamber to get yours today!

The SBDC On-Line Consulting service is a free service
that links entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs with SBDC consultants
via the internet. There is no charge for either the use of the service or
the business consultation service provided by the SBDC. The service
features a video and audio real time link to the Gainesville office of the
SBDC for faster and more immediate help with business opportunities for the

Workers Compensation Insurance Savings -
Through participation in the Drugs Don’t Work Program, chamber members can
save 7.5% on their Workman’s Compensation premiums. The program has five

Need a FREE small
business mentor?
White County Rotary Club sponsors mentoring program for small business
owners -
Need a small business advisor? Want to learn to read and understand your
financials? White County Rotary Club, a community service club comprised of
local business leaders, is launching a mentor program. Rotarians will work
with business owners to help them:
- set and track goals
- learn to read, understand
and use financials
- network with other resource
providers
This program is free but does require a year commitment to meet with your
mentor at least once a month. For more information, call the club partner,
