     In any community, the need to feel safe and protected is vital to assuring a great quality of life. In White County, the low crime rate, superior law enforcement, and fire protection services all contribute positively to that goal.

Law Enforcement Services:

Local law enforcement services are provided by the White County Sheriff's Department, headed by Sheriff Neal Walden. This Department provides patrol, investigation, detention, warrant and other services for our growing community. 

Recent statistics reflect the low per capita crime rates in White County, creating a sense of safety and security for residents and visitors.
